SPRINGFIELD, Va. — Toronto Marlies left-winger Frazer McLaren was handed a two-game suspension by the American Hockey League on Tuesday for a charging incident in a game at Syracuse last weekend.
McLaren was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline), the league said in a release. He will miss Toronto’s games Wednesday at Binghamton and Friday at Utica.
The AHL also suspended San Antonio Rampage defenceman Greg Zanon for two games for his actions in a game against Texas on Sunday.
