Milan Michalek suffered a setback with his knee, was unable to play for the Ottawa Senators Monday night and is officially listed as day-to-day.
Michalek was not on the ice for the Senators’ morning practice and was replaced in the lineup by Guillaume Latendresse against the Boston Bruins.
Senators head coach Paul MacLean told reporters Monday that it is just a day-to-day injury.
The 28-year-old winger played in the Senators’ last two games, registering two assists after missing more than three weeks with a knee injury.
Latendresse, who has played in six games this season, has been cleared to return after passing his baseline concussion test.
He had not played since Jan. 30 after suffering post-concussion symptoms.
