Milan Lucic denies he has reached agreement with Oilers

Pending UFAs Milan Lucic and Jason Demers were giving a VIP tour of the new Rogers Place with some Oilers brass while in Edmonton on Tuesday.

Impending free agent forward Milan Lucic is expected to sign with the Edmonton Oilers on July 1 when players can officially sign with teams, a source tells Sportsnet’s Gene Principe.

Lucic denied the report later on Tuesday.

Lucic, 28, was spotted touring Rogers Place on Tuesday (video above).

The left-winger scored 20 goals and 35 assists in 81 games last season for the Los Angeles Kings.
