Wild’s Haula not diagnosed with concussion

John Moore was the second Rangers player of the night to get tossed when he followed through on Erik Haula with an elbow while going in for the open-ice hit.

Minnesota Wild forward Erik Haula was not diagnosed with a concussion after being on the receiving end of a hit to the head from New York Rangers defenceman John Moore Monday.

Wild head coach Mike Yeo told reporters that despite being cleared of a concussion Haula will be a scratch for Tuesday’s game against the Boston Bruins for precautionary reasons.

Minnesota Wild on Twitter: “Yeo: Haula out tonight. Not diagnosed with concussion, but team’s call to hold him out for precautionary measures. #mnwild #MINvsBOS”

Moore will have an in-person disciplinary hearing Wednesday afternoon at the NHL office in New York City, the league announced.
