The Minnesota Wild have placed defenceman Kyle Quincey on waivers.

Quincey joined the Wild on a one-year contract worth $1.25 million this off-season, and has three assists in 18 games so far.

The 32-year-old had a 38-point season in 2008-09 with the Los Angeles Kings, but has spent most of his career with the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche.

He split last season with New Jersey and Columbus, totalling six goals and 15 points in 73 games.
