NO. 88
The Vancouver Canucks had few bright spots during the 2016-17 season, hence the 29th-place finish in the overall standings. However, they still produced the occasional moment of brilliance.
In a game against the Detroit Red Wings, the Canucks found themselves down 4-1 late in the third period at Joe Louis Arena. Vancouver opted to pull goaltender Ryan Miller, but as he was skating off the ice, the Red Wings swept forward and Henrik Zetterberg fired a shot from centre. Miller noticed, hustled back towards the net and dove across to grab the puck in mid-air.
With that agility and hand-eye coordination, Miller would have made an excellent shortstop.
