NEW YORK — The NHL has fined the Philadelphia Flyers for violating the collective bargaining agreement by travelling during a holiday break.

The league did not disclose the amount of the fine Sunday.

Players are barred from travelling or practicing from Dec. 24-26 under the collective bargaining agreement. Rogers Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston in Toronto reported Saturday that online flight records showed the Flyers took a flight from Philadelphia to Nashville the night of Dec. 26.
