The lockout-shortened season hasn’t started yet and there are already a number of players who won’t be ready by Jan. 19’s likely puck drop due to injury. This list will only grow as training camps begin within the next week. Without any pre-season games and jumping right into an intense sprint to the playoffs, the compact schedule will surely be demanding on players’ bodies.
