NHL odds: Oilers look to end four-game skid

• The Edmonton Oilers continue their five-game road trip when they travel to Buffalo Friday to take on the Sabres as 20/27 road moneyline favourites.

The 4-8-1 Oilers extended their current losing streak to four on Thursday night with a 5-2 loss to Boston after starting the road trip with a 4-1 loss to the Flyers in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Following their date with Buffalo, who sit at the bottom of the NHL standings with a 3-9-2 record and 250/1 Stanley Cup long shot odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com, Edmonton will travel to New York for a Sunday night meeting with the Rangers at MSG.

​• The Toronto Maple Leafs will look to bounce back from a disappointing 4-3 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche when they face the Rangers on Saturday. The Leafs covered as +1.5 underdogs on the puck line on Thursday night in Denver, while the total went OVER for the first time in their past six games.

The Leafs, losers of two straight, cap a busy three-game weekend on Sunday, when they travel to Ottawa to take on the streaking Senators.

• The 7-3-2 Sens also play three games this weekend, which started with their solid 3-0 win over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night as an EVEN moneyline bet at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

• The Vancouver Canucks continue their three-game California swing with visits to the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks on Saturday and Sunday, while the Montreal Canadiens look to post their second straight win when they take on the visiting Wild Saturday night.
