Many National Hockey League teams are holding special promotions in an attempt to win back fans’ support.
For example the Dallas Stars are working towards offering children 12 and under free tickets in January and February with an adult purchase. The team’s president Jim Lites made the announcement on a Dallas radio station Thursday morning.
“The Dallas Stars are in the process of finalizing several exciting initiatives for our fans,” Lites said. “We are currently sorting through the logistics of these initiatives, and encourage fans to go to dallasstars.com and our social media platforms in the coming week to learn more.”
The Tampa Bay Lightning are offering a special deal on some 2013 season tickets. The team announced Wednesday they had begun offering a limited number of season ticket package for only $200.
Fans would also get a $25 gift card for the team’s merchandise store inside their arena.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are offering selected concession items for free and half off all merchandise at the team’s first four games at Consol Energy Center. Plus, every fan attending those games will receive a voucher for three free concession items.
