NHL to donate $200,000 to Denna Laing’s rehabilitation

The NHL announced Saturday that on behalf of its member clubs, the league will donate $200,000 to injured NWHL player Denna Laing.

Laing suffered a significant spinal injury at the Outdoor Women’s Classic on Dec. 31 and has received an outpouring of support during her rehab and recovery.

Honda and Ticketmaster have combined to donate a 2016 Honda Odyssey that will be retrofitted to meet her transportation needs.
