Early on Sunday, the Leafs acquired goaltender Jonathan Bernier from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Matt Frattin, backup goaltender Ben Scrivens and a second-round pick in either the 2014 or 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Nonis said the club is possibly looking to add more pieces.

The club has reportedly spoken to the Edmonton Oilers about the availability of centre Sam Gagner.
With the new collective bargaining agreement, the salary cap ceiling will be lowered to $64.3 million for the 2013-14 season. Nonis believes the Leafs are in a good position.
