Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid scored his 100th career NHL goal Tuesday in a contest against the San Jose Sharks.
After conceding a goal to the Sharks just 45 seconds into the game, McDavid responded for the Oilers taking a feed from Leon Draisaitl to hit the century mark for his career and tie the game at 1-1.
With the goal, McDavid became just the fourth active player in the NHL to reach the 100-goal mark before his 22nd birthday.
The goal was McDavid’s 13th of the season and the first with new head coach Ken Hitchcock manning the bench.
