Oilers place forward Nathan Walker on waivers

Mark Spector joins Gene Principe to recap the Edmonton Oilers’ performance against the San Jose Sharks.

The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Nathan Walker on waivers.

Walker, the first Australian to play in the NHL, was claimed off of waivers by the Oilers in November.

He appeared in two games with Edmonton, failing to register on the scoresheet.

The 23-year-old scored one goal in seven games with the Washington Capitals earlier this season.
