The Edmonton Oilers caused a stir Saturday night after a controversial tweet was sent from the team’s official Twitter account.

The story in question suggests that Oilers owner Daryl Katz could relocate the team if a deal for a new arena can’t be reached.
Katz and city council are at a standstill in negotiations over a proposed $475-million state of the art arena in downtown Edmonton that would replace the aging Rexall Place.
Talks hit a new low last week when councilors were told the Oilers were seeking millions of dollars in new concessions from taxpayers, including a $6-million annual subsidy from the city to run the building.
