Ottawa Senators sign defenceman Erik Burgdoerfer to two-way deal

The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Erik Burgdoerfer to a two-year, two-way contract. The deal with worth $650,000 in the NHL and $125,000 in the AHL in year one, and $650,000 in the NHL and $150,000 in the AHL in year two.

Burgdoerfer, 28, recorded a goal and 17 points in 52 games with the AHL’s Rochester Americans last season.

He also played in two games with the Buffalo Sabres.
