With his most recent Stanley Cup run coming to a bitter close, Alexander Ovechkin is putting his Washington Capitals sweater in the closet and wearing a sleeveless John Wall jersey instead.

The superstar has been making headlines lately, first for his team’s continued playoff struggles and second, with the revelation he was playing with knee and hamstring injuries against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Washington Wizards find themselves in a similar predicament, down 3-2 in a conference semifinal series against the Boston Celtics. With Ovechkin in attendance, the Wizards will try and push the series to Game 7.

Donning a John Wall jersey seems like an obvious choice, but if he decided to go the custom-jersey route, it would not have been the first time his name was on a Wizards shirt.
