P.K. Subban guarantees Predators win in Game 3

P.K. Subban wouldn't lay the blame for the Predators' Game 2 loss on any one player, saying the team's focus is now on winning Game 3 in Nashville.

Nashville Predators defenceman P.K. Subban says his team will win Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The defenceman spoke just moments after the Predators were defeated 4-1 in Game 2, falling into a 2-0 series deficit.

“We’re going to win the next game and we’ll go from there,” he said.

Subban’s club played well in Pittsburgh, outshooting the Penguins in each of this series’ first two games so far.

Game 3 will be played on Saturday in Nashville where the Predators are 7-1 this post-season.

There we’ll see if Subban can live up to his words, and if Nashville can save its season from being pushed to the brink.
