Panthers’ Jaromir Jagr scores 750th career goal

Jaromir Jagr continues to climb up the NHL all-time goal leaderboard.

The 44-year-old right winger scored his first goal of the season Thursday night and 750th of his career during the Florida Panthers‘ game against the Washington Capitals.

Jagr, who is in his 23rd NHL season, tied the game at 2-2 on the power play by coming into the slot and snapping a shot past the glove of Braden Holtby.

The Czech Republic native signed a one-year deal to remain with the Panthers in May.

He now has 1,870 points and trails Mark Messier for second on the all-time points leaders list by 17.
