David Pastrnak will remain with the Boston Bruins for the rest of the season.
Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli held court with members of the media during the first intermission of his team’s game against the New York Rangers on Thursday and informed them of the club’s decision.
Pastrnak has four goals and an assist in eight games so far with the Bruins, with all four goals coming in the past two games.
The Havirov, Czech Republic native impressed at the World Junior tournament over the holidays and as been equally as dazzling on the ice with the Bruins since returning to the team in January.
