Penguins sign Jarred Tinordi to one-year deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed defenceman Jarred Tinordi to a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000.

Tinordi has 53 games of NHL experience during which he picked up six assists.

The 25-year-old was the captain of the United States’ U-18 World Junior Championship team that won gold in 2012.
