Maple Leafs recall Granberg, Leivo from AHL

The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled defenceman Petter Granberg and forward Josh Leivo from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League Monday.

Granberg has one goal, six assists in 28 games with the Marlies this season. The 22-year-old was drafted 116th overall by the Maple Leafs in 2010 and played one game for the team last season.

Leivo has four goals, nine assists in 19 games with the Marlies and registered one goal in nine game with the Maple Leafs this season.

The Maple Leafs have lost six consecutive games and 14 of their last 17 overall. They look to snap their current losing streak Wednesday when they visit the New Jersey Devils. Fans can watch that game on Sportsnet at 7:30 p.m. EST.
