When Phil Kessel gets traded back to the Toronto Maple Leafs, he’ll have to go home hunting.
The Pittsburgh Penguins star has sold his 5,000-square-foot luxury College Park condo for $3.335 million. That’s $565,000 below the list price of $3.89 million.
Back in July, Kessel listed the condo at $4.1 million when he was traded to Pittsburgh.
Take a virtual tour of Phil the Thrill’s old abode and imagine the epic games of Ping-Pong waged within:
“The condo is unlike any other condo in Toronto,” listing agent Geoffrey Fulton of Keller Williams told the Toronto Star.
“Phil extended his contract when he was living in the condo and he didn’t choose to live anywhere else. He loved that condo. He scored about 400 points in 446 games there, so I think he was pretty happy.”
The three-plus-one-bedroom space, which Kessel bought in 2009, features a surround-sound entertainment system, panoramic views of the city, and a spa-like bath.
The condo’s new owner will be pleased to discover that it’s just a short walk to access the finest hot dog vendors in the Yonge and College area.
Reports that Tyler Bozak is now homeless remain unconfirmed.
