The Vegas Golden Knights put on a show Tuesday night as they officially made their home pre-season debut.

And once the puck dropped, it didn’t take them long to embrace hockey in Vegas.
Cody Eakin rewarded the Vegas faithful, scoring the franchise’s first-ever goal on home ice less than four minutes into the matchup.
Fans even got a taste of overtime.
Although that ended quickly, thanks to the game-winning goal from Brooks Laich just 12 seconds into the extra period to claim a 3-2 victory.
Next up, the Golden Knights will host the Avalanche on Wednesday night.
They’ll make their regular season home debut on Oct. 10 against the Coyotes.
