It’s Hall of Fame weekend in Toronto and the Penguins and Maple Leafs treated fans to the Hall of Fame game Friday night. All the inductees, including Lynn Burns, wife of the late Pat Burns, were in attendance. Here are some photos capturing the pre-game celebrations.

Captains Sidney Crosby and Dion Phaneuf take the ceremonial faceoff, dropped by Bill McCreary one last time.
Beautiful shot from high up prior to the game shows the Hall of Fame honourees on the ice during the singing of O Canada, with a huge Canadian flag being passed through the crowd.
Finally. Three-time Jack Adams winner Pat Burns is being inducted into the Hall. Unfortunately, it comes four years after he passed away from cancer.
Burns coached the Leafs from 1992-1996, winning a Jack Adams and reaching two conference finals. He finally got his first Stanley Cup in 2003 behind the bench of the New Jersey Devils. Burns also coached the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins.

And since Pat is no longer with us, his wife Lynn was on hand Friday in his honour.

Ladies and gentlemen, the 2014 Hockey Hall of Fame class.
Not a bad team to run with in a 3-on-3 game.
