Eichel is ready to go for Tuesday's clash against the Oilers after it looked like he aggravated his high-ankle sprain Monday against the Capitals.
He looked like he was in a lot of pain on the bench after tweaking his ankle, but Eichel returned to finish the game on Monday and finished with 18:31 of ice time. The Sabres didn't skate Tuesday morning because they're playing back-to-backs, but they've made Eichel officially available as he goes head-to-head against Connor McDavid. High-ankle sprains are tough to come back from, and given Eichel's triumphant return with three goals in four games, it would've been a big blow had he suffered a setback.
