The Nashville Predators have made yet another move on the waiver wire by claiming defenceman Brad Hunt from the St. Louis Blues.

In corresponding moves, the Predators placed Petter Granberg on injured reserve and assigned Kevin Fiala to the Milwaukee Admirals.

Hunt has played in nine games this season, scoring one goal and adding four assists.

He was originally called up on Dec. 8 after Robert Bortuzzo was injured (lower body), then he found some playing time after Carl Gunnarsson also had to miss games due to injury (lower body). Now that the two are healthy, Hunt is the odd man out so the Blues tried to send him down to their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

Hunt spent the previous three seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, but he has never played more than 11 games in a season.

This is the third waiver claim the Predators have made this season, Reid Boucher a waiver wire celebrity — and Derek Grant are the other two.
