Russian president Vladimir Putin took part in a hockey game pitting former Russian stars, as well as Alex Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin, against students from Sirius college for gifted children at the Shaiba arena in Sochi.

Putin put his skills, or lack thereof, on display as his squad actually put the boots to the team of children.

Although he’s not much of a player, Putin often takes to the ice with former Russian stars. He scored eight goals, with some help from Pavel Bure and Valeri Kamensky in an exhibition game in May.
