Rangers place F Josh Jooris on waivers

Nick Holden scored the lone goal of the game to get the Rangers a 1-0 win in overtime against the Blackhawks.

The New York Rangers placed forward Josh Jooris on waivers Saturday.

New York signed Jooris to a one-year deal in July after the Calgary Flames elected not to extend him in June. The 26-year-old scored a goal and an assist in 12 games this season. With the Flames, Jooris totalled 37 points over two seasons of play.

The Burlington, Ontario native entered the NHL in 2014-15 after going undrafted.
