The Detroit Red Wings will not have forward Pavel Datsyuk when they face the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.
Datsyuk, 36, has been dealing with a lingering groin injury that caused him to miss two games last week. He played 20:37 minutes in Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Montreal, but did not practice with the team on Monday.
The Russian forward will be replaced by veteran forward Daniel Cleary.
