The Detroit Red Wings have agreed to terms with Tomas Tatar, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
Per Friedman, the four-year deal is worth $5.3 million annually, which matches Tatar’s pre-arbitration ask. (The Red Wings were reportedly offering $4.1 at that time.)
The agreement was made following an arbitration hearing between the club and player, but before any ruling could come down.
Tatar, 26, is coming off a 25-goal season—his third consecutive campaign with more than 20 goals—and has registered 99 goals and 194 points in 345 career NHL regular season games in Detroit since being drafted 60th overall by the club in 2009.
