Andrei Loktionov is reportedly still garnering a look from National Hockey League clubs.
According to a report from R-Sport in Loktionov’s native Russia, agent Igor Larionov said his 24-year-old client has received interest from five NHL teams as well as four in the Kontinental Hockey League.
An unrestricted free agent, Loktionov put up 22 points in 68 games with the Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils in 2013-14 despite seeing less than 13 minutes of ice time per game.
After leaving the Russian Superleague after the 2007-08 season, the centre lit it up as an Ontario Hockey League star for the 2008-09 Windsor Spitfires (66 points in 51 games), but his 155 NHL games have been spread among three teams and have only yielded 22 goals total.
Yaroslavl Lokomotiv, for whom Loktionov played seven games in 2007-08, was reportedly interested in bringing the forward back this summer.
