Contract talks between Alex Galchenyuk and the Montreal Canadiens will have to wait for a little bit longer.
The Canadiens forward fired his agent Ian Pulver according to a report from Renaud Lavoie of the Journal de Montreal on Monday.
Galchenyuk is a restricted free agent after his three year entry-level contract with the Habs expired. The 21-year-old was making $925,000 a year with Montreal over the last three seasons.
