Two-time 50-goal scorer Dany Heatley is set to make his Ducks debut on Tuesday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, according to Lance Pugmire of the L.A. Times.
Heatley has been out with a groin injury he suffered in pre-season and is expected to play on Anaheim’s top line with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.
“It’s exciting, he’s proven over the years that he can score goals, and he’s looking to have a bounce-back year by his standards,” Perry told the L.A. Times. “Everyone in this organization is excited to see him get going.”
