The NHL has scheduled a press conference in Nashville this Friday and according to Sportsnet’s John Shannon, the league will announce the Predators as hosts of the 2016 NHL All-Star Game.

John Shannon on Twitter: “Friday, the NHL will announce Nashville as host city of the 2016 All-star Game.”

This year’s game will be hosted by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Originally, the Columbus All-Star Game was supposed to be in 2013, but was postponed by the NHL lockout and last year’s Olympics.
