Report: Sharks’ Clowe could be on the move

With Ryane Clowe the subject of trade rumours, the Sharks decided to sit out the forward Monday.

The San Jose Sharks have approached Ryan Clowe’s agent about the possibility of waiving his no-trade clause, according to CSNCalifornia.com.

It’s also reported that a deal involving Clowe could happen as soon as Sunday.

Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens and the New York Rangers have been linked as potential destinations for the power forward.

Sharks general manager Doug Wilson would like “a first round pick and another young asset,” ESPN reports.

In 27 games this season, Clowe has no goals and 11 assists.
