If Dwayne Roloson is to stay in Edmonton, it will be for similar money to what he earned as the team’s best player last season.
According to the Toronto Sun, general manager Steve Tambellini has offered the 39-year-old goaltender a one-year deal expected to be in the range of $3 million. Roloson earned similar money last season in posting 28 wins and a 2.77 GAA.
If Roloson does not accept the offer and opts to test the free agent market on Wednesday, the Oilers priority will switch to finding a replacement goaltender.
