Sabres call out ‘idiot’ Radko Gudas for brutal hit on rookie

Late in the Buffalo SabresPhiladelphia Flyers game Thursday, Flyers defenceman Radko Gudas threw a dangerous hit on Sabres’ rookie Daniel Catenacci.

Gudas and Jake McCabe fought immediately after the collision which left Catenacci on the ice for several minutes.

After the game, Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma and Marcus Foligno let their feelings be known.

Gudas was suspended three games in December for a head shot delivered on Ottawa Senators forward Mika Zibanejad.
