After the city of Buffalo was hit with a massive snowstorm, the Sabres crowd was noticeably small for Tuesday night’s contest with the San Jose Sharks.
It’s amazing anyone showed up at all, but some loyal fans still made the trek to First Niagara Center.
Fans who were unable to attend the game were able to exchange their unused tickets for tickets to a future Sabres game.
Sabres head coach Ted Nolan told reporters before the game that forward Patrick Kaleta was snowed in and could not attend the game, as were some members of the team’s medical staff.
