Sabres ink Matt Tennyson to two-year deal

The Buffalo Sabres have signed Matt Tennyson to a two-year deal.

The first year will be a two-way contract, followed by a one-way contract in year No. 2.

In the 2016-17 season, Tennyson played in a career-high 45 games with the Carolina Hurricanes during which he recorded six assists.
