Sabres, Marcus Foligno agree to terms on 1-year contract

Marcus Foligno had a goal and two assists to help the Sabres pummel the Flames 6-3.

The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed forward Marcus Foligno to a one-year contract, the team announced Thursday.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Foligno totalled 10 goals and 23 points, both career highs, in 75 games with the Sabres in 2015-16.

Foligno was drafted by the Sabres in the fourth round (104th overall) at the 2009 NHL Draft. The 24-year-old has registered 36 goals and 93 points in 267 career NHL games.
