Sabres re-sign forward Johan Larsson to two-year deal

The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed forward Johan Larsson to a two-year deal worth an annual average value of $1.475 million, the team announced Saturday.

The five-foot-11 Lau, Sweden native recorded 11 points and 20 penalty minutes in 36 games for the Sabres this past season before a wrist injury ended his campaign in December.

Selected in the second round (56th overall) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2010 NHL Draft, Larsson has 48 points in 178 NHL games, all but one with the Sabres.
