Sabres sign Colaiacovo to one-year deal

The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenceman Carlo Colaiacovo to a one-year deal, the team announced Friday.

The deal is reportedly worth $800,000, plus a $100,000 signing bonus.

Multiple injuries have caused the 32-year-old blueliner to miss large chunks of time over the course of his 12-season career. Colaiacovo has registered 33 goals the 152 points in 434 games split between four teams.
