Schenn scores third pre-season goal as Flyers beat Islanders

Brayden Schenn deked and dazzled fans during an exhibition game on Friday when he deked out the Islanders defenceman, rushed hard into the net and scored 'Bobby Orr' style.

Brayden Schenn scored his third goal of the preseason to help the Philadelphia Flyers beat a visiting New York Islanders split-squad team 5-2 on Friday night.

Schenn is tied with for the preseason goal lead with Detroit’s Teemu Pulkkinen and Tomas Tatar and St. Louis’ Paul Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko.

Chris Porter, Shayne Gostisbehere, Michael Raffl and Matt Read also scored for Philadelphia, and Michal Neuvirth made 23 saves.

Bracken Kearns and Casey Cizikas scored for New York. Christopher Gibson allowed four goals on 20 shots in the first two periods, and Kevin Poulin stopped five of six shots in the third.
