The Ottawa Senators have recalled goaltender Danny Taylor from AHL Belleville.

Taylor has a 3.79 goals-against average and .880 save rate in 13 games with Belleville this season.

The 31-year-old was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the seventh round of the 2004 NHL Draft (221st overall), and made his NHL debut with Los Angeles in a relief appearance in 2007-08.

He made two starts with the Calgary Flames in the 2012-13 season, going 1-1.

The move comes as starter Craig Anderson’s health for Saturday’s game against the Florida Panthers has come into question.

The Senators announced Friday that the 36-year-old is ill.
