Another game against the Ottawa Senators, another trip to the dentist for Jaromir Jagr.
Jagr was hit with an accidental high stick to the teeth from Erik Karlsson during the second period, causing him to chip a tooth. He left the game for repairs, but would return. (See the play at the top of this post.)
The craziest part is, pretty much the same thing happened to Jagr during the Florida Panthers‘ December matchup against the Senators, when he was struck with a high stick from Alex Chiasson.
Jagr lost his two front teeth from that December incident, but didn’t hold a grudge.
For his part, though, Jagr has got some revenge on the Senators. He’s scored two goals against them Thursday night. Hey, that’s one more goal the the amount of teeth he’s lost this evening!
