When the Ottawa Senators open their road trip against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night, there’s a good chance Craig Anderson will have his new game face on.
Anderson, who was acquired from the Colorado Avalanche on Feb. 18th in exchange for Brian Elliot, will most likely debut his new mask in New Jersey. The mask features the Sens logo on one side and an angry-looking Senator driving a race car on the other.
Since arriving in Ottawa, Anderson has used his Avalanche mask with a Senators logo taped to the front. He’s posted four wins and three losses with a .952 save percentage since joining Ottawa.
Anderson has struggled this season, posting a record of 13-15-3 with a 3.28 GAA and .897 save percentage before coming to Ottawa.
In his first game with the Senators, he posted a 47-save shutout against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Feb. 19th.
