Sharks’ Micheal Haley suspended one game for roughing

San Jose Sharks forward Micheal Haley has been suspended one game for roughing Nashville’s Calle Jarnkrok.

Haley punched Jarnkrok in the face after being hit into the boards from behind on Saturday.

He was given a match penalty as the Sharks lost 7-2.

The 30-year-old has two goals, 11 points, and 110 penalty minutes in 54 games this season. He’ll forfeit $3,472.22 in salary to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

San Jose’s next game is Tuesday night against the New York Rangers.
