Dallas Stars defenceman Marc Methot will miss the next four to six weeks after having a knee arthroscopy.

This is Methot’s first season in Dallas after being acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights this off-season.

The 32-year-old has no points in 15 games, and hasn’t scored a regular-season goal since March 2016, back when he was with the Ottawa Senators.

Centre Martin Hanzal is also expected to miss three to seven days with a hand injury.

The Stars host the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.
