Stars sign McNeill to one-year, two-way extension

The Dallas Stars have signed forward Mark McNeill to a one-year, two-way contract extension, the club announced on Monday.

The 24-year-old McNeill split the 2016-17 season between Rockford and Texas of the American Hockey League. In 79 AHL games, he scored nine goals and added 30 assists. He appeared in only one game for the Stars.

The Langley, B.C. native was originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round (18th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
